STEM-Based Learning Analysis to Improve Students’ Problem Solving Abilities in Science Subject: a Literature Review

STEM is one of the learning paradigms that integrates science, technology, engineering and mathematics. The combination several methods implemented to make students achieve certain abilities, like problem solving skills. Problem becomes a very important part in because it can motivate them having better cognitive level. purpose this study describe effect on physics material applied schools problem-solving abilities students. method used research meta-analysis where researcher analyzed articles as needed. Articles were limited last 5 years publication, namely 2014 - 2019. Searching for Scholar, Eric, Elsevier search engines. From searching results, was obtained 21 relevant according needs researchers. Then, from many 86% questions or teaching materials STEM-based media 14% review articles. keywords STEM, physics. Based analysis conducted be concluded through approach improve students' abilities.
